This is a short overview of what happens at a Seedcamp Day and how you can add maximum value to the eager entrepreneurs you’ll be meeting. If you have any additional questions, please let us know!

Format
- Mentoring sessions are 45 minute slots each
- You will be grouped with 2-3 other mentors and will mentor together as a team
- Four startups will be assigned to you and your team for mentoring
- There are two ‘free’ 30 minute slots where you can choose who you’d like to mentor
- All mentors should have different experiences and skills so a quick introduction at the beginning of each mentoring session will be useful to the companies as well as yourselves
Being a mentor
Mentoring is the most valuable part of the day for teams. A ideal mentor will be insightful, responsive, ask challenging questions, share relevant experiences, listen and have actionable advice. Sessions build on the presentations given in the morning so it is recommended to be present for the whole day.
Preparation
You will be sent a Lookbook in advance so you can familiarise yourself with all the teams. You can pick out teams you are especially interested in, so you can connect with them at lunch, evening drinks or during the ‘free mentoring’ sessions.
Your Feedback is invaluable
We will send round a voting form in which each mentor will be asked to name their two favourite companies. This is fantastic feedback for us and helps gain insights into the companies and discussions. We also pass your feedback to the teams.
