That’s true! You said midnight June 26 UK time.. We still have time.

We did actually keep it open longer, until this morning (27th) – a glitch in the new website simply took the button from this page, the application system itself was still open at apply.seedcamp.com all the time.

We always try to reach out to all applicants as early as possible and communicate that it is a good idea to finish the applications early – did you get yours in?

time formats are exactly an issue we have dealt with while designing our site’s user interface, because a lot of confusion arouses when one culture formats a date as 07/06/11 , 06/07/11 or 2011/06/07 when all are saying the same thing: June 7, 2011. Also the issue with midnight and am/pm. many don’t know whether midnight is the last moment in the day or the first or whether 12am is midnight or noon. Since our site deals with events, showtimes and cultural, communicating this clearly was greatly considered. Our decision was to go with 0-24 clock and a date format using both letters and numbers: Jun/06/2011. We fed the months into a spreadsheet and it took an hour to translate the name of the month into 17 other languages. We never got a complaint about anyone not understanding when an event is taking place and no matter how an organizer uploads their times and dates, we standardize it to fit one format for all to understand. (Yesterday I noticed the deadline read June 27, fortunately our app as submitted sooner!)
